Comfy and look good

So, I snagged a pair of those Edison Steel Toe Oxfords, you know, for when I gotta look sharp but also be safe at the same time. They actually look really good, not clunky like some other safety shoes. And they're pretty comfy too, which was a nice surprise. I was a bit worried they'd be stiff but nope, wore them all day and my feet weren't killing me. Getting them was easy enough, no drama there. Definitely a good buy.

Good quality, minor shipping delay

I ordered the Volta Steel Toe Oxford for work. The ordering process was straightforward on their website; I found my size easily. Shipping took about 7 days to get to me in Oregon, which was a little longer than I expected given the initial estimate of 5 days. When they arrived, the shoes felt really solid. The leather quality seems high, and they look professional enough for office meetings but still have that steel toe for the shop floor. I wore them all day yesterday and found them surprisingly comfortable for safety shoes. I had a question about cleaning the leather, and their support team responded to my email within a day with some helpful tips. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, just wish delivery was a touch faster.

Consistently good quality

I've bought from Oxford Steels a few times now, mainly the Mich Steel Toe Lace Up Boots. This latest pair didn't disappoint. The sizing is always consistent, which I appreciate, and the leather holds up really well. I usually get about a year and a half out of them before needing to replace, even with daily wear. Delivery was a bit faster this time, arriving in about 5 days compared to my previous order which took closer to 8. It's why I keep coming back; I know what I'm getting.

How long does shipping usually take to get to California? Need these for a new job starting in about 10 days.

D Derek Q. 1 month ago
I'm in SoCal, and mine took about 5-7 business days to get here. So you should be good.

Got mine in NorCal in less than a week. You'll probably get 'em in time, they ship pretty quick.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with their return policy? If I get a pair and they don't fit, is it a huge hassle to send them back?

J James 4 weeks ago
Yeah, returns were easy, did it last month. Just print a label and drop it off. Pretty standard stuff.

I returned a pair that was too big. They have free returns, so that's nice. Just make sure you don't wear them outside or anything if you think you might send them back.

Hey, thinking about grabbing a pair of the Chelseas. I'm usually an 11 in Nike, but sometimes a 10.5 in dress shoes. How do these fit? Should I size up or down?

J James 1 month ago
I'd go with your standard dress shoe size. Mine were spot on, no need to size up for the steel toe part or anything like that.

They fit pretty true to size compared to my other dress shoes, not like sneakers at all. I got my usual size and they were good right out of the box.

Anyone know if I can use my military discount AND a 'welcome' code for signing up for emails? Trying to save a few extra bucks.

N Nina Whitfield 1 month ago
Nah, you can only use one code at a time, afaik. Tried that once, didn't work for me.

Pretty sure they only let you stack one promo code per order. You'll probably have to pick the better discount.

Anyone got a pair of these AND Red Wings? Wondering how they compare comfort-wise for being on your feet all day. Red Wings are great but a bit clunky for the office sometimes.

S Shane 1 month ago
Totally different vibe. Red Wings are built like tanks but Oxford Steels are way more comfortable for office/shop floor. Lighter and look better with slacks for sure.

I have both. Oxford Steels are definitely more 'dressy' and lighter for all-day wear if you're not doing heavy construction. Red Wings win for pure ruggedness though.
